Hey stickpoking, have u tried playing the latest version 1.1h? I tried playing but after loading a save file after rescuing Queen Karen, it crashes to desktop. Loading a save file before rescuing Queen Karen seems to be no problem

Only tried 1.1a and 1.1d but it showed only as ver 1.1 for me. It crashed a lot for me in many places. I did the same thing and loaded a save file and it worked fine.

dont play with 1.1 a and d if you go the forums. those are the beta testing for new expansion. they explain in the forum that only try if u want to do beta testing. the full copy wont come out tell later on. =D

Use winterwolf howler.exe. It will bypass the expansion registration. However it cannot be use to bypass the main game registration. U still got to use old crackto bypass it. However this crack is outdated and useless when playing the updated game. It will always crash once u load any game that has chapter two. U can google winterwolf howler.exe.

I registered an e-mail with the Howler too. And after reading this post, I tried deleting the loadsave files; but the game still crashes when trying to load a file. Or when I delete both, it gives an error and doesn't open up. Any suggestions?
Are you sure you are playing chapter 2? Cause the game does not crash when playing a save file from Chapter One.
No no, it's from chapter 2, when you confront Raven in the forest. Chapter 1 works fine without crashing. It's just that Ante said to delete the save files so I thought they were the loadsave.py and loadsave.pyo in the "Renpy" folder. I think I assumed wrong. So can you please correct me and tell me what to do? I really love this game :)
I wasn't replying to you. I was replying to Ante since he did not mention whether he is playing a chapter 2 save file or not. Sure u can play chapter 2 without crashing. The real problem is loading a chapter 2 save file.

Delete all loren folder including savefiles.
Download the latest demo from the main website. Its updated with 1.1x. Download the crack here.Then download winter wolf howler.exe Follow the normal cracking procedure. once u r done, exit the game and activate winter wolf howler.exe. Then go back to the game and activates the expansion.

1) where are the savefiles located?
2) can you upload somewhere this winter wolf howler.exe?
1.) I've replied it up there, but the savefiles is in the folder where you put the persistent file from crack
C:\users\[UserName]\AppData\Roaming\RenPy\Lore_Amazon_Princess
2.) Just google it, it already uploaded but along with another winterwolves game (such spirited heart)
While the games are different, the howler still work perfectly

U need to delete everything including C:\users\[UserName]\AppData\Roaming\RenPy\Lore_Amazon_Princess. Everything!!!! Then install again
Yeah... I did deleted everything. This time I didn't use the persistent crack. Now I can save and load in Chapter 2. I still haven't try to recruit the the black mage and monk. Hope it won't have any problem. Thanks a lot.
Actually i use both the persistant crack and winterwolf howler. How the heck u manage to play without the persistant crack?
I am having problem with loading a chapter 2 save file: the game automatically exits when I try to load the game file. This is what I did in order to correct the problem:
- Uninstalled the game
- made a backup of the chapter 2 save file.
- Deleted the Loren_Amazon_princess folder from the Appdata\roaming\renpy directory
- Reinstalled the game, using the original crack procedure (using options.rpyc and persistent)
- got the expansion using the howler/
- put back the chapter 2 game file in the loren_amazon_princess folder
- now when i try to load the game file, the game still exits

I feel like smacking your head. Which part that u don't understand "DELETE THE SAVES FILES!!!!!!!!!" Why did u put back the old save files. Get rid it of it. Delete backup. Then do everything again from step one.

Yeah, encountered the same problem, what I did was delete persisent in the renpy directory. (Just like what the guy did above)
Run the game, it will create its own persistent file.
Exit, do step 2 (option.rpyc replace yada yada.. you get the gist)
Run howler. Bring back your old save state. It loaded for me.
Thanks for the upload, but I'm having some difficulty; whenever I backup and replace options.rpyc, I get an error. It says an uncaught exception has occurred and gives this error message "ScriptError: Name u'getit' is defined twice: at game/options.rpy:420 and game/options.rpy:484."
This happens when I try the version of the game you uploaded and the latest demo off the website.

One problem: After you rescued Queen Karen & Chambara informs you of the war between the humans and elves... the game crashes. This is with the expansion registered and a new save file.

A-ha, problem solved! You actually have to move the original file out of the folder. Simply renaming it doesn't work for some reason.

I got this game working without paying for it, and without having to properly crack it.($25 is ridiculous. I would have bought it it were $10).
What I did is really simple, and a bit different to what the others did. Just simply play the demo without do a thing to it whatsoever, up until you get to the point where it asks to register. Once this happens, download this:

Make a back up of your original options.rpyc(move it out of the folder, renaming may not work, as someone else stated), and place this new one in there. Load the game, play just past where it did ask to register(I went into camp), then save. Now get rid of the cracked options.rpyc, and place the original back in there.
Now you are playing an uncracked full version of the game, with none of those crashes or problems that come with cracking.
I did not test this with the expansion though. Only the original.
